Ironing Out Global Warming

Are you worried
about climate change

Scientists may have the answer!
Irons!

Scientists say:-
"Collectively, Irons use a huge amount of electricity, not to mention what we are now calling the G.I.T. (Global Iron Temperature) This is the collective temperature of all those hot irons and has been estimated to have the capacity to add a number of degrees to the global average!"

If we turned off all the irons, we may be able to save a portion of the southern ice cap, possibly even halt or at least slow the prospective Penguin extinction.
A social commentator suggested:-
"It's merely a social etiquette, an affectation; a way to be seen to be better than your neighbour. We could easily abandon ironing to save the planet."
Mrs Henhouse, speaking from the recycling depot where she'd just returned her iron and ironing board, said

"I'm just thrilled, I've dreamed of this moment. The man who came to talk to me about it, explained it all very clearly;
If I stop ironing and sit down for the same amount of time, which for me with 5 kids is about 7 hours a week, I'll be saving the planet. It's brilliant!"

So there we have it, a brand new way to save the planet that saves you time, money and energy. I can't think of another way to be green with so many up-sides and almost no down-sides!
So we'd look a bit wrinkled, I say it's a small price to pay to save the earth.
